EMBDC Holds Ribbon Cutting for Cash Saver

Meridian, MS - The East Mississippi Business Development Corporation held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Cash Saver on Tuesday. Cash Saver is a new cost plus food outlet located at 1700 North Frontage Road in Meridian. The business is owned by the Vowell family, who also own other grocery stores in Mississippi and Alabama. "This store opened last Friday and has done well above what we anticipated," said Todd Vowell. The Cash Saver store lists the at-cost price on the shelves, and then adds 10% at the register in order cover operating expenses and to make money.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies are offered to all members of the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation.
