In 2010, Meredith joined the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation as Public Relations Coordinator. She coordinates events and media coverage for the EMBDC while continuing to maintain a connection between businesses and local government. Meredith also acts as a staff person for the Image Committee and Young Professionals of Meridian.
A native of Meridian and graduate of Meridian Public Schools, Meredith attended Mississippi State University, where she earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. Following college, Meredith took the opportunity to work for a city/social magazine in Baton Rouge, LA and later returned to Meridian where she began working in the investment industry. Since her return to Meridian, Meredith has been actively involved in the Meridian Downtown Association and the Image Committee.
