Meridian, MS- The East Mississippi Business Development Corporation Image Taskforce proudly announces Kim Watkins of Comcast Cable, Tena Hardy of The Meridian Housing Authority and Gail Grady of Aldersgate Retirement Community as the winners of the Better Attitude on Service Award for the months of March, April and May. The Better Attitude on Service Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate an on-going commitment to customers, a team spirit and a positive attitude in promoting Meridian and Lauderdale County. These winners encompass the essence of good customer service through attitude, demeanor and overall service. Kim is employed by Comcast Cable and is highly praised by those she serves. "Kim does whatever it takes to get the job done with positive friendly and timely service", says Lamar McDonald of Meyer and Rosenbaum Inc. She is the best at talking to customers to find the best solution and to make sure problems are resolved. Tena works as a Family Self Sufficiency Coordinator for the Meridian Housing Authority. "Ms. Hardy's dedication to bringing about positive change in the lives of her clients has lead to several clients moving from public housing to home owners, says Cecil Johnson of Meridian Housing Authority. " Tena works with the Social Service Department and other MHA staff to promote the new public attitude which is that respect starts with individuals respecting themselves and the concept that public housing is a soc-economic safety net. Gail Grady is employed by Aldersgate Retirement Community as a Dietary Aide. "For 15 years Gail has bubbled with hospitality by sharing her joy and laughter with our Aldersgate family", says Lawona Broadfoot, Executive Director for Methodist Senior Services Aldersgate.
