Leadership Lauderdale Class of 2009-2010 Underway

Meridian, MS-Leadership Lauderdale is an EMBDC program that includes a 9 month course that provides the opportunity for a diverse group to learn about themselves (developing interpersonal skills) and their community; to be introduced to leadership skills and how they use these skills to benefit themselves, their company and their community. Secondly, participants discover how they can build teams to impact their community by assessing and meeting needs to open doors to potential successes. The principal objective of Leadership Lauderdale is to enlarge the base of leaders in Lauderdale County who understand themselves, their community, leadership styles, and team building skills while sharing a desire to produce positive change that benefits both themselves and their community as they learn to build consensus and resolve conflict.
All sessions in the program incorporate the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, team building, "go, see, hear" activities, and community and leadership programs. The following is the class schedule which has already begun.
