Safeguard Dement Printing

Dement Printing is well known throughout Meridian and East Mississippi and has been in business since 1875.  When owner Johnny Dement decided to retire in 2016, local businessman Scott Bancroft took the opportunity to purchase Dement and expanded his business to Safeguard Dement Printing.  Bancroft has expanded the products and services offered to include business cards and stationary, labels, mailing services, flat and full color printing, office supplies & furniture, promotional products, record printing and binding.  

The opportunity to own and run a business in his hometown is very rewarding to Bancroft and he is proud to provide employment opportunities to his great employees, who are more like family.  Customers become like family too, says Bancroft, “There are customers that have been there since day one and those relationships become more than just about business, you get to be friends and they know they can count on you.”  Bancroft, who doesn’t mind working hard and taking opportunities when presented, credits his strong work ethic to his dad who was also a business owner.   When Bancroft purchased Dement Printing, he felt it was important to continue the membership with EMBDC.  He feels it is important to support the community where you live and work and believes in supporting local businesses.
