You’re in Good Hands with Allstate.
Remember when the Allstate Insurance Agency was in the Sears Store? Allstate’s history began in the fall of 1930 when Sears, Roebuck & Co. President and Board Chairman, General Robert Wood, got the idea to start an automobile insurance company and sell insurance by mail. Their business slogan was taken from the 1933 inaugural address of Roosevelt by declaring, “Uncertainty will not rule our lives when we put our lives in good hands.” It was the beginning of something big.
Now there are agents with their own offices across the United States. Bridget Jennings has one of the newest Allstate offices located in Meridian. “I have been a life insurance agent since 2015 when I worked for Union National Insurance. After about 5 years, I branched off to be an independent agent and decided to get an office location and to offer multiple carrier products. I was offered the opportunity as an agency owner to offer other lines of insurance, auto, home, renters, etc., with Allstate. It’s always better to offer more products to your clients, so I became an Allstate agent.” Bridget enjoys doing business in Meridian/Lauderdale County because her passion is to help educate people on the importance of insurance to help secure their tomorrows. She is a member of the chamber because they keep you informed of new business around the city and citywide events.
Allstate has decided to dedicate resources to financially empower young people, by honoring outstanding college football players – across all divisions – and the non-profits they serve. Allstate has
used this opportunity to financially empower athletes who serve their communities, opening the door to new possibilities for players and non-profits. This is the largest investment yet for community impact by a college football sponsor – and insurer. Community leadership aligns with Allstate’s values and is part of its longstanding commitment to creating positive societal change. Bridget Jennings is excited to be associated with Allstate for their philanthropy and their outstanding insurance coverage and service.
One of the most recognized commercials on television today is Allstate’s Mayhem guy. The mayhem campaign personifies the pitfalls, collisions and storm damage that can befall drivers. “Dollar for dollar, nobody protects you from mayhem like Allstate. Don’t wait for mayhem to find you.”
