Donnie Massey, President /Owner, began doing construction projects part time in 1989, working nights and weekends, while holding down his full time job as a manager at a local industry.  Five years later he was able to leave the security of his day job and began his construction work full time.  He always enjoyed working with his hands and was happy when the opportunity came to start his own business and put all his focus on D & H Construction & Cabinetry.  Donnie graduated from MS State with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology.  Daughter Ashley, followed in his footsteps and graduated from MS State with a degree in marketing and public relations.  Also, in 2018, Ashley received her certificate as a general contractor for Building Construction in the state of Mississippi!

“We take on projects large and small.  We try to envision what the client wants and help make it happen.  We provide services from concept designs to project completion.  We are certified professional builders and commercial and residential licensed builders. Most of our business is in Meridian, but we have done jobs on the coast and usually work in a 60-80 mile radius,” says Donnie.  “As a member of the Chamber, we keep in touch with business opportunities, here, in the community.  Most of our work comes through word of mouth,” he added.
