Small enough to know you, large enough to serve you
Need new tires? Unless you’re replacing your car’s tires with the identical set that it came with, you’re going to face some decisions. What’s the story with treadwear? Can you replace a run-flat tire with something else? Are winter tires worth the investment? You can get all your questions answered at Ed Chaney Tire Pros, because they know tires. When trying to decide which tire to get, start by looking at a list of best tires for 2021. Michelin is at the top of the list. Guess what brand tire Ed Chaney’s has? Michelin. Second on the list? Goodyear tires. Does Ed Chaney carry Goodyear? Yes, they do! You can find tires for passenger cars, light trucks, SUV’s, vans, trailers, lawnmowers, ATV’s and more. And not only tires; Chaney’s can help you with brakes, oil changes, alignments, wipers, batteries, custom wheels, tire pressure, and most under-car repairs.
Ed Chaney Tire Pros was founded in October 1987, as Ed Chaney Tire Center, Inc. by Ed Chaney, Sr. as an independent tire dealer. The original location was 1313 B Street, and later moved to the current location at 306, 22nd Avenue. The building is painted blue to go along with their original slogan, “When
you lose your tread, go see Ed in the Blue Shed!” “We have been locally owned and operated for 34 years, with a focus on treating each customer as our friend and providing the best products and services in the tire automotive business,” says Eddy Chaney, owner.
“Owning your own business is the most challenging and most rewarding thing you will ever do. Think long and hard before taking that leap of faith. Most profits have to go back into the business to survive in the long term. Strive to hire great people! Be willing to adapt and evolve with the ever-changing times by providing the products and services people need and want. Always live up to your word and do what you say; that builds trust and great business partnerships,” adds Eddy. “Consider becoming a member of the chamber because being a member is like being a stockholder in Meridian and the surrounding area. The dues we pay are put forth to hopefully draw better businesses into the Meridian/Lauderdale County area. With two major interstates, we can be a hub of growth and progress. Our investment in the chamber will help us all have a better overall quality of life.”
