Expect to pay more for school expenses this year!  Every month seems to bring new and sometimes unexpected expenses to families throughout Lauderdale County.  And this month, new and unusual school expenses have hit hard!  On average, parents expect to spend about $530 per student this year, up from last year.  While most intend to spend less on clothes and regular school supplies than usual, other categories will be higher.  Nearly $400 will be spent on computers and hardware and over $300 on average for electronics, and digital subscriptions.
