Leading Edges

When asked what he considered some of their best work, Tony Pompelia, owner of Leading Edges said, “Our best branding project is the MSU Riley Center.  We designed the logo, developed their website, produce their printed material and work closely with the executive director and their staff.”

Opening in June, 2001, Leading Edges brought a lot of experience to the world of advertising in Meridian. Tony had worked for a large corporation in Chattanooga, TN, and another in St. Louis, all in marketing.  A friend in Birmingham invited him to come join his team and help develop his corporation.  He decided that was something he would like to do, but he’d like to do it at home.   So he came back to Meridian, and started Leading Edges.

Leading Edges, LLC, is a full service marketing and advertisement agency.  They provide website services; developing, maintaining, and updating websites.  They produce collateral printing material.  They don’t do printing in-house, but do all the graphic design right here.  They write copy, develop business plans and sell promotional products.  They create and produce radio ads and video and are fully involved in the process, from planning and outlining to shooting and editing.  Commercials, orientation videos, and promotional videos are a big part of the business.

“I’ve lived and worked in a lot of different areas, but Meridian is home.  There have been so many business people that have given us opportunities.  You’re only as good as the clients that allow you to serve them and you’re only as good as the people you have who can serve them. Everyone at Leading Edges has the education and experience to excel in their area of expertise.

I really enjoy doing business here.  I enjoy the pace, and I like our proximity to larger cities.  I enjoy the vision of the town.  The MSU Riley Center and the MAEX are amazing.  And I believe in being a Chamber member.  We need to support the effort to maintain and grow the business climate we have.  As a member, you have a voice or an option on how that’s being done.  We should demonstrate support for this area and its growth.  Being a member of EMBDC has helped my business in terms of the relationships I’ve built through it and the exposure I’ve gotten.

I think people misunderstand the gravity of what’s required, and the number of obstacles that are there when you talk about bringing industry to an area.  It’s much bigger than one thing, or one person or one association; it’s all of us being a part of all that.  Someone has to build bridges and that’s the EMBDC.  They initiate those relationships but we all have to be a part of the whole process because we are the stakeholders.  If you have a business, you have a stake in wanting this area to grow and not be a hindrance but to be supportive,” Pompelia states.

And to grow your business, you need your marketing to be the best it can be.  If your ads seems dull, uninspired or dated, call Leading Edges, LLC to add a splash of creativity to your brand!  A company in Bangkok did!!  So should you!
