Bruce Martin, president of Meyer & Rosenbaum, was just 15 when he met company co-founder Al Rosenbaum. Martin was working as a janitor at Riley Memorial Hospital (now part of Anderson Regional Health System).

Rosenbaum was already a Meridian legend. From the company’s beginning in 1932, he had worked hard to build it into, as the company slogan says, Your Insurance Leader. He served as a Marine Corps combat pilot during World War II and as mayor of Meridian from 1977 to 1985. He was instrumental in the creation of Naval Air Station Meridian.

Martin came to work for Meyer & Rosenbaum as a summer intern while attending Mississippi State University. After graduation, he joined the agency full-time. Meyer & Rosenbaum has always focused relentlessly on customer service. The agency takes pride in solving insurance problems that others cannot.
