A System of Care Site

NFusionX Crossover provides mental health services and support for at-risk youth, ages 3-21, children in CPS (Child Protective Services), or potentially in long term placement situations. They teach coping skills, anger management, life skills, leadership, team building, and communication. They also offer an environment that children can come to and learn and interact, through many different activities. The purpose of the program is to help families or youth receive multiple services through one agency. A referral is not needed.

NFusionX was founded in 2012 to meet a need for our region. The families and staff that work with NFusionX provide a unique partnership striving to build a better community for our youth. The community is very connected and has a desire to help those that are in need, believe in the cause, and want to help improve the community around them for the youth, our next generation of leaders.

NFusionX has a map team that serves both the people that NFusionX serves, as well as Meridian/Lauderdale County. They also offer parenting classes on the first Wednesday of every month. “NFusionX is here to help break the stigma of mental health within the community and help Children & Youth,” says Nichole Wray – Lead Family Contact/Certified Family Peer Support Specialist. They offer high-quality afterschool programming for kids and provide social emotional learning workshops for professionals. “Mental health is one of those touchy things you don’t want to talk about, but it’s like when you scrape your knee or break a leg; you want to put a band aid on that knee or go to the doctor. Everyone deals with some sort of mental health issue and the best way to take care of it is to seek help. Get out and get help.”

“I love working with kids. I love being able to assist them by any means possible, making sure that they have all those skills,” said one counselor. “Especially as a therapist, I want to make sure that they are moving forward in every possible way because we see so many youth who don‘t have the skills they need and they end up getting in trouble.”

NFusionX belongs to the chamber to get help in promoting their services to benefit those in need in the community of Meridian and Lauderdale County. One family said, “We wouldn’t have made it without NFusion. There has been a huge difference in my children’s behavior in terms of respectfulness and many other aspects that NFusion helps with.  They never gave up the faith.”
