Real estate is one of the best careers for women who want to create their own destiny.  It’s one of those careers where you can be your own boss, set your own hours and see the rewards of all your work.  Make no mistake though, it is hard work. Women are striving to establish more senior roles for themselves in commercial real estate, an area where they are severely underrepresented. 

Amanda Snowden, SRS, RENE, is the sole owner/broker of Snowden & Company Real estate, LLC.  She began her real estate career in 2006, coming from a background as a legal assistant at a real estate law firm.  Since then, she has risen to be one of the area’s top producers, selling millions of dollars in inventory as both a listing & selling agent.  A graduate of Mississippi State, she has earned the designation of Seller Representative Specialist and is also a certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert.

Amanda ventured out on her own and started Snowden & Company Real Estate, LLC in 2018.  Within a short time the company grew by adding a couple of Meridian’s leading agents, Laurie Heitz and Donna Monsour.  Although the company is fairly new, they offer over 50 years of combined experience, recently adding Leslie Turner and Devin Snowden to the team.
