Your Trustmark, in Meridian, Mississippi:

Founded in 1889, Trustmark has become one of the strongest and most respected financial institutions in the South. Through their team of more than 2,800 professionals in over 185 locations across Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas, they are proud to be celebrating 131 years of customer and community service. Trustmark offers a comprehensive range of personal and business banking services. Everything from personal accounts, mortgage services, small business checking to large, complex commercial loans and services.

In Meridian, Trustmark’s roots can be traced back to 1883, when the bank first opened as First National Bank of Meridian. In 1989, Trustmark acquired the bank and brought with it Trustmark’s legacy of being a strong community supporter. Over the years, they have made many meaningful contributions to local organizations, including The MAX and the Mississippi Children’s Museum. More recently in 2020, Trustmark launched two financial efforts centered around pandemic relief: the Fueling Healthcare Heroes campaign which provided meals directly to those on the frontlines, and a COVID-response campaign. Trustmark contributed approximately $150,000 to community and school-based meal programs that provided meals and food kits to those in need, by distributing funds to sixteen organizations across their footprint.

As they turned the corner into 2021, Trustmark continued its’ support by wrapping-up a two week “Sleigh Hunger” campaign which invested more than $250,000 into 69 local relief organizations—where portions of the proceeds were given to The Wesley House Community Center and the Salvation Army right here in Meridian. In March of this year, Trustmark was honored to present a $75,000 check to Hope Village, following a $50K contribution to them in 2020, as part of their long-standing commitment to help children and families in local markets thrive. And Trustmark’s associates are delighted to be an integral part of community volunteer activities and can’t wait to get back out there!

Trustmark is delighted to continue their long-standing support of the Lauderdale County community, its’ residents, businesses, and the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation. Trustmark is grateful for the years of support and business enjoyed while serving this community.
