Have you ever driven down the streets of Meridian and started noticing the real estate signs along properties for sale?  You’ll begin to realize some companies have more signs than others.  If you are in the market to buy or sell real estate, you need to pay close attention to who is selling in your neighborhood.  Who has the most signs up?  But being a real estate agent involves more than just knowing where property is for sell.  You want someone who has knowledge of the neighborhood, who understands the housing market, knows the inventory, is familiar with the schools, local issues, traffic concerns and much more.  You want someone who knows the specific neighborhood in which you want to buy.   All your neighbors can’t be wrong.

Four different Winsteads have been the principal broker at the company:  The late WC Winstead, Thellis Winstead, the late Tony Winstead and Terry Winstead.  All four have served as President of the Meridian Board of Realtors, now East Mississippi Realtors, and all have been honored as Realtor of the Year, one or more times.  The Lifetime Achievement Award, given by the local board, was established in honor of Tony Winstead.   WC, Thellis and Terry are three of the six people honored so far.
