Dentzel Carousel

Highland Park in Meridian is home to the only two-row non-jumping Dentzel Carousel still in existence. It has been nicely preserved and restored along with its original Carousel House and still operates to this day.

Meridian Little Theatre

Meridian Little Theatre, one of the South's oldest subscription-based community theaters, was founded in 1932. It has since grown to be Mississippi's largest community theater, welcoming over 22,000 theatergoers each year.

Temple Theatre

Opened in 1927, the Hamasa Shrine Temple Theater was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The Temple continues to attract and provide a variety of quality, affordable live entertainment for Meridian’s cultural enrichment.
